Lindsay Mayhew is a spoken word artist and author from Sudbury, Ontario. She is the co-editor of the critically acclaimed collection, A Thousand Tiny Awakenings with Connor Lafortune. Lindsay is a seasoned slam competitor: she is the multi-year champion of Wordstock Sudbury’s poetry slam, and she placed as a runner up in the 2025 Canadian Individual Poetry Slam in Vancouver and the 2024 Womxn of the World Poetry Slam in Baltimore. Lindsay has featured in events across Ontario, including Nuit Blanche, Vancouver Poetry House, Wordstock Literary Festival, Guelph Poetry Slam, and others. She is an English Literature Master's graduate from the University of Guelph. Her work centers feminism, mental health, and human rights.
